Today on Monday 27th April a grand total of £735.05 was deposited in to the bank. The total proceeds from our Annual Westie Walk and Beach Party 2015. This will go such a long way in enabling us to help any Westie in Need on the Island wherever possible.
The Raffle made £162.00 and half the proceeds of this £81.00 will be donated on behalf of Wight Westie Walkers to Brackens Dog Rescue. A non-profit making organisation on the Isle of Wight.
A grand total of 74 Westies were in attendance to enjoy the Party. We also had great support from their other canine companions.
The Westie Database now has 182 Westies registered on to it. 20 of these are new Westies recently added. Only 6 of these Westies are non-Island residents! The database is a great tool in assisting any Westie that might become lost or found on the Island. If and when we hear of any lost or found Westie we are able to contact owners and assist in reuniting them. The information held on our database is totally confidential and never passed onto a third party. So please if you haven’t done so yet register your details with us. You never know you might need us one day.

We will be updating our official website with photographs from the Walk in the next week or so. Please if any of you have photos that you would like to share with us and can include on our website we would love to hear from you.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
Wight Westie Walkers & Rescue would like to thank you all for your support and generosity.
